It has been a busy week in the shop, I forgot to take pictures of some of the progress but I did manage to get some taken.

The Ice Cream Serving Station is coming along nicely.

the holes in the slanted top and the front will hold stainless serving canisters for the condiments.

To ensure that spilled liquids will not destroy the mdf under the melamine I sealed the edges with epoxy

The area here to the left of the slanted portion will hold the cone dispenser and the cups for soft serve.  I had to make a new fence for the sharp edge on the front of the angled portion.

This fence straddles the factory fence and helped hold the cutting process steady.  I still had some trouble with chip-out in the melamine so I will be covering the top with a matching formica.  this will also give a surface that is easier to clean.

In the middle of all of this my customer brought me a sandwich board that was covered in an ugly brown wash and had painted chalkboard inserts.  She asked me if I could make it match the trim in her shop and upgrade it to a whiteboard.  Of course, what do we all say, No Problem. So here it is, sorry no before pics just the final ones.

Time for me to get back to work on those legs I talked about.  I will post more pics of them later.
